ONsports 16 : Let Favre Play!!
- The on-going Favre drama this off-season has gone rather predictably, with Favre insisting he wants to return.
- Nobody expected him to ask for his outright release, let alone Green Bay’s counterstrike: that he can come ride the bench as #2
- With training camp approaching in 2 weeks, this saga is far from over, expect fireworks
MLB
- With the MLB All-star festivities well underway, is there any truth to the complaints that there aren’t enough big names on the rosters?
- Is the All-star game “broken” in it’s current incarnation of deciding the home-field advantage in the World Series, or is it better than the rest of the leagues useless games?
NHL
- The Tampa Bay Lightning make serious moves this week, re-signing Vinny Lecavalier to an $85 million, 11-year extension.
- Lightning GM Jay Feaster gracefully bows-out.
NASCAR
- Ryan Newmann seeks release from Penske in order to join Tony Stewart’s fledgling team.

Enjoy!
